Andy has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, specializing as an HR Generalist. He has a strong background in recruitment and selection, team building, and cultivating workplace cultures that align with organizational goals. Andy is also skilled in performance management across all levels of an organization, training and development, and creating rewards and recognition programs that help attract and retain talent. Additionally, he has extensive experience in implementing HRIS systems. As a mentor and educator, Andy is committed to helping teams grow and excel.

The demand for HR expertise in organizations has increased particularly for small businesses, prompting Andy to further refine his technical knowledge through certifications. Andy began his HR certification journey in 2017, with his MBA dissertation focusing on Global Human Resources, awarded by the prestigious Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, which was ranked among the top 20 schools worldwide at the time. In 2021, Andy completed his Level 7 in Human Resources Management, followed by a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Gloucestershire in 2023.

Andy is proud to be a member of following internationally recognized HR organizations, CPHR Nova Scotia since 2022 earning his CPHR designation in 2023, in 2024 Andy received his SHRM - SCP (Senior Certified Professional) designation from the Society Human Resource Managers as well as his Chartered Fellowship, (FCIPD) designation from the Chartered Institute of Professional Development for Human Resource professionals also in 2024. ​Continuing his HR educational journey, Andy began his Doctor of Business Administration in 2025. His doctoral thesis will focus on Human Resources Management and will be accredited by the Swiss School of Business Management in Switzerland, which was ranked 69th in the 2025 CEOWORLD Magazine list of the best business schools globally.

FRACTIONAL HR
Fractional HR services provide businesses with part-time access to experienced HR professionals, allowing your business to benefit from strategic HR guidance from an experienced HR professional without the costs associated with a full-time hire. This is a flexible option for your business whilst providing optimal HR support, expert guidance during periods of growth, restructure, complex HR needs such as talent management, aligning HR strategies with business goals.

Package 1 – HR Business Review
(25 hours per month for an initial period of three months)
This package is specifically tailored to your business needs and consists of two stages:

Assessment Phase: A comprehensive review of your existing HR policies, procedures, training and development, performance management, employee culture, communication strategies, and feedback mechanisms.

Strategic Recommendations & Support: A detailed report with recommendations for improving HR operations and addressing potential business challenges. Additionally, we provide ongoing support in handling various employee situations to ensure smooth implementation.
Package 2 – The Future Leaders Plan
(20 hours per month for an initial period of three months)
Succession planning is essential for business growth. Premier Cru Hospitality will conduct an in-depth assessment of your leadership team to identify strengths, growth opportunities, and potential roadblocks that may hinder their success.
Through personalized one-on-one coaching, we develop a Personal Development Plan aligned with your business objectives, fostering accountability while driving leadership growth. This plan prepares leaders for their next role within the organization, ensuring long-term success.

CPHR in Human Resources is a nationally recognized level of achievement within the field of human resources in Canada. CPHR holders have a conviction that the professional practice of human resources management can safeguard the interests of employers, employees and the business community. There are 33,000 Chartered Members across nine provinces and three territories.

SHRM - Society for Human Resource Management is internationally recognized with members from all over the globe.
